The following were the projects carried out in 2010-11:
July: Health Screening at Meru Impiana, organized by Residents Association of Meru Impiana with the help of Friends of EM [OC Ln Joseph]
Aug.: Fundraising for Sekolah Semangat Maju, school for mentally challenged children [OC PP Ln Suchdev]
Sight Screening was provided in support of Special Olympics held in Ipoh. PP Ln Ashley was the Sight Coordinator of the program. [OC PP Ln Ashley]
Sept.: Joint Road Safety Project in conjunction with Hari Raya Puasa, initiated by LC Kinta [OC Ln Albert]
Walk-4-Sight, with participation from 6 other clubs at Ipoh City & Country Club [OC Ln Lawrence]
Joint Peace Poster Project with 9 other clubs in Ipoh [OC Ln Joseph]
Oct.: Donations to Batu Gajah Home for Handicapped Children [OC Ln Albert]
Nov.: Health Screening at Chi Pee Seah temple, Ipoh [OC Ln Nicholas]
Health Screening at Bertam Valley, Cameron Highlands, jointly with Pharmacy Association and Friends of EM [OC PP Ln Dr Anthony]
Donation of supplements to Pertubuhan Kanak Kanak Cacat, Silibin [OC Ln Leeza]
Environment Talk by Ln Dr Anthony Ng to SM Sam Tet students organized by Leo Club of Sam Tet [OC Ln Lawrence]
Dec.: Anniversary Celebration & Xmas Party for children from Vision Home and Salvation Army Home at Coocoon, Ipoh [OC IPP Ln KM Chua]
Joint Donation of RM500 to Fire Disaster Victims, a home for the disabled, off Jalan Kampar, Ipoh [OC President David]
Donations to Batu Gajah Home for Handicapped Children (2nd visit) [OC PP Ln Suchdev]
Dec-Feb: Donations to Ms Kimmy Lee who suffers from spinocerebellar ataxia, an irreversible illness that left her incapacitated in Kuala Kangsar. A computer, table, printer and others accessories were donated and assistance provided to get internet access. A sponsor also paid for 1 year’s internet access. A number of visitations were made by club members who also donated magazines and helped her celebrate her birthday. [OC PP Ln Dr Anthony]
